Thanks, wish I could have had some time alone with the planes, I have many cool shots that are not so cool because of random people in the shot. Did you get any good shots at the train fest?

a few, but I was too cheap to pay so they are all TTF (thru the fence) I am going to post one soon of one of the guys working on an engine after the train was parked. Look in my favorites for a guy named saturninus. Check out his site. you might also enjoy images posted by evepeachmarie she does not take pictures, but is a model with great ideas. This place is pretty entertaining, and inspiring. have you found any outstanding people yet?

I shot "TTF" on Friday and then promptly formatted my card prior to download. I got a couple shots on the "inside" on Saturday that are OK. I feel very limited by my present equipment. I find many people on here inspiring, however I'm more impressed with technique and framing than I am with subject matter, if that makes sense.

that sucks about the lost data. All you said makes sense, equipment wise I feel I am finally where I want to be to build whatever image I can imagine. Now I just need more imagination. Lots of models would help too! That shit is expensive tho, i got out kind of cheap because I had a lot of old Minolta lenses from film days that fit on the new Sonys. Like 28mm f2.8 and the 50mm f1.7. This old glass is noticeably sharper than the new Carl Zeiss lens I just bought. What kind of stuff do you use?
